Properties of the
Atmosphere
The performance of any aircraft is highly dependent on the surrounding
atmospheric properties. The following worksheet allows
the atmospheric properties to be calculated, in particular density,
pressure and temperature, up to an altitude of 50,000ft. The atmosphere
equations are based on ISA definitions and are described in the chapter
"Properties
of the Atmosphere"
