Engineering Calculations Database

This area is still under development. It currently consists of a series of infra-structure and a basic set of calculations available covering a number of standard structural, mechanical and electrical problems. The calculations will be available in three forms:

• Spreadsheet (Openoffice/Excel4 compatible)
• Octave (Matlab compatible subroutines)
• Web-based

The spreadsheet and Octave/Matlab versions allow the user to use the calculations as provided or to include them in their own code where applicable. The web-based version gives a standard graphical front end and calls the Octave/Matlab code as the computation engine. Some manuals are included that allow users to develop their own calculation modules and automatically included them in the database.
