To Do List (11th January 2005):

New features for the system:

• Migrate underlying hardware detection to latest version of official Knoppix
• Make sure that all the fonts used by CUED are installed
• Support for more types of USB memory sticks
• Wireless network support
• Improve support for dial-up networking
• Option to install to NTFS partition
• Improve determining of network settings
• Improve NTFS handling
• Make "Save Settings" save more attributes

New features for programs:

• Better support for printing in OpenOffice
• Sensible default settings for OpenOffice

New programs:

• ? Flash
• ? Adobe Acrobat
• Find a better .ZIP manager than guiTAR

Bug fixes:

• Scanning for settings sometimes hangs on start up

Testing and refining:

• Printing
• VLC multimedia player
• GEDA Electronics Design suite
• Octave + Octave Forge

• Write decent list of working hardware
• Decent list of how to change BIOSes
• Write decent trouble shooting guide
• Write trouble shooting guide for CUED internal system

• Re-write the FAQ
